About Me

Shawn Turner is a proud member of the Sutton Select family here in London, he brings a unique background and perspective on real estate to our brokerage and to his clients. A proud London native, Shawn left the city early in his career for education and professional opportunities but returned in his mid-twenties—just as he began investing in rental properties and laying the groundwork for what would become a lifelong passion.


Armed with a business degree, a marketing diploma, and currently pursuing an MBA “for fun,”-he says, Shawn brings a powerful blend of education and experience to every real estate transaction. Before becoming a Realtor, he built an impressive resume over two dynamic decades, accumulating hard-earned lessons in finance, marketing, negotiation—and most importantly, people. Shawn's career journey included roles in accounting with Ernst & Young LLP, as a commercial banker and Vice President with RBC – Royal Bank, as general manager of a large GM dealership and an owner-operator of a Nissan dealership. All the while, he continued growing his own real estate portfolio and raising a family.


Shawn is a proud husband and father of three boys, plus Hank—their energy-packed family dog. Ask him about his passions, and he’ll tell you: “Whatever my kids are into, my wife Lisa, then its real estate and cars.” When he’s not with clients, you’ll find him cheering poolside as his son’s swim competitively, at the hockey rink watching one of them play, skiing at Boler in winter, biking there in summer, trying to golf (he struggles), or hiking the trails around their neighborhood and cottage.


Shawn was a longtime client of Sutton Select Realty before becoming an agent himself. After working with two top agents—one of whom became a friend and mentor—he made the leap into real estate full-time. That mentor, one of London’s top-producing agents, provided invaluable guidance and resources that continue to benefit Shawn and his clients today.

What excites Shawn most these days is helping buyers find their perfect home. He quickly matches his clients’ energy and genuinely enjoys touring properties—whether it's a cozy starter home, a fixer-upper, or a multi-million-dollar estate.


On the selling side, Shawn has developed a deep appreciation for data. He thrives on analyzing market trends, average days on market, supply levels, and strategic pricing—arming his clients with the insights they need to navigate the market confidently. He’s passionate about setting realistic expectations, helping sellers understand not only what their home is likely to sell for, but also how long the process might take.


Drawing from his background in the retail automotive industry—where he managed millions of dollars in inventory daily—Shawn brings a sharp eye for inventory control and market timing. He has also developed a strong sense for staging, believing passionately in the power of presentation. He collaborates with talented partners to ensure every listing makes a lasting impression.


At his core, it’s not just about homes—it’s about people. Shawn is driven by the relationships he builds and the opportunity to be part of his clients' journeys.
